Meet Sahira Long, MD, IBCLC

Sahira Long, MD, IBCLC, is a board-certified pediatrician and lactation consultant at Children’s National Health System. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and serves as the Medical Director for two Children’s Health Centers in medically underserved Southeast Washington, D.C., and for the Children’s National East of the River Lactation Support Center. 

In her free time, Dr. Long likes to crochet, bake and garden. She also likes playing Sudoku. Her two sons are 15 and 12 years old, and she has a dog that’s 2 in people years. She and her family love playing the card game Phase 10 and racing as a family on Mario Kart.
