PAIN MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
Meet Elisha Peterson, MD, FAAP
Elisha Peterson, MD, FAAP, is a board certified pediatric anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician at Children’s National Hospital. She is an assistant professor of Anesthesiology Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Children’s National and serves as director for the Chronic Pain Clinic.
In her free time, Dr. Peterson likes to jump rope (finally mastered the double unders), run half marathons and read non-fiction. She is a mother of three children; they keep her and her husband busy with arts and karate.
“Children are so incredibly honest, trusting and full of joy. It is rewarding to see the dramatic improvements children make in such a short period of time. They are the true superheroes.”
