Meet Anisha Abraham, MD, MPH

Anisha Abraham, M.D, MPH, is a pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist at Children’s National and associate director of the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program. She received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, her public health degree from George Washington University and has been in practice for more than 25 years including in Europe and Asia.

Dr. Abraham’s passion is helping teens to thrive, especially adolescents from cross-cultural backgrounds. Her career includes work in clinical care teaching, leadership and global public health. She is regular spokesperson on teen issues such as mental health in the media. In her free time, she enjoys travelling with her husband and two kids, running marathons and writing.
